1. Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

IMPEKT Limited is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 in line with the UK Government’s target and Public Procurement Notice (PPN) 06/21.
We recognise our responsibility to reduce our environmental impact through sustainable business practices, efficient use of resources, and responsible technology management.

2. Current Emissions Baseline (2025)

As an SME in its early trading stage, IMPEKT Limited currently has minimal direct emissions.
Our operations are digital-first, with staff working remotely and using cloud-based infrastructure.

3. Carbon Reduction Targets

To maintain a clear path to Net Zero by 2050, IMPEKT will:
● Reduce cloud infrastructure energy intensity by 10% per year through efficient resource scaling and use of green hosting providers.
● Continue operating a remote-first working model to minimise commuting and office emissions.
● Transition to renewable energy-powered cloud data centres by 2030.
● Maintain paperless workflows and digital documentation across all operations.
● Review and report annual progress on carbon reduction starting FY 2026.

4. Carbon Reduction Initiatives

IMPEKT Limited has already taken and continues to take proactive steps to reduce its environmental impact, including:
● Using energy-efficient hardware and virtual collaboration tools to minimise business travel.
● Partnering with suppliers and data centres committed to renewable energy usage.
● Implementing waste minimisation and responsible e-waste recycling policies.
● Integrating sustainability considerations into procurement and software development practices.

5. Governance and Reporting

Environmental responsibility is overseen by the company’s Directors, who review progress annually.
IMPEKT Limited will review and update this Carbon Reduction Plan every year to ensure continuous improvement and transparency in meeting Net Zero targets.
